I‘ve always felt a little different and never really understood why I think so differently. After recently finding out I have ADHD it all makes so much sense. I drew this as a peek into the mind of someone who is neurodivergent. The different houses symbolize not truly having a place where you feel completely yourself, but also show a hyperfixation that neurodivergent people often go through.

On my very first visit to Northern Ireland I saw the extraordinary coastline that forms part of the Giant’s Causeway. The causeway is famously known for its unique columns, but I could not help be enchanted by the intense green of the mountainous coast against the rich blues of the sea and sky. I’ve tried to depict the grandeur and calmness in this painting. It was a cloudy and wet day, but the sun peaked through every so often.

There is truly something magical about the Western Cape Mountains. I’ve always found a sense of peace and anchoring when encountering a mountain. You realise how small you really are and that whatever problems your facing, will too pass! Mountains remain steadfast, anchored and humbling.
